🗓️ 90-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 90 days of the date your order is marked as delivered, provided the item meets the eligibility conditions below.
📦 Return eligibility
- The return request must be made within 90 days of delivery.
- The item must be unused, unworn, clean, and undamaged.
- Frames and lenses must be free from scratches, marks, signs of wear, misuse, or accidental damage.
- All included accessories should be returned where possible, including magnetic clip-on lenses, case, pouch, cleaning cloth, and packaging.
- Your order number must be provided.
🇮🇪 EU, Irish & UK cancellation rights
This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights. Customers in Ireland, the EU and the UK may have additional legal protections, including a statutory cooling-off period for eligible online purchases. Our 90-day return window is a commercial policy offered by REIC and is intended to be more generous than the standard statutory cancellation period for eligible change-of-mind returns.
🛡️ 1-Year REIC Store Warranty
Your REIC eyewear is covered by a 1-year store warranty from the delivery date against manufacturing defects under normal use. This may include defects in materials, frame structure, hinges, magnetic clip-on mechanism, or workmanship.
This warranty does not cover accidental damage, scratches from use, normal wear and tear, loss, theft, improper cleaning, misuse, modifications, or damage caused by incorrect storage or handling.
📸 Photos or video may be required
For damaged, defective, incorrect, missing, or warranty-related items, we may request clear photos or video evidence before approving a refund, replacement, repair, or return.
✉️ How to start a return or warranty request
Email shopreic@gmail.com with:
- Your order number
- The item you wish to return or the issue you are reporting
- A brief explanation of the reason for return or warranty request
- Photos or video if the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, missing parts, or being reviewed under warranty
We will review your request and provide return instructions if approved. Please do not send any item back without approval.
🚚 Return shipping costs
- For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our side or where required by applicable law.
- If the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing included accessories, we will review the case and provide a fair solution.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items are packaged safely to prevent damage in transit.
💳 Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Refunds are processed after the return has been approved and inspected.
- Where applicable, refunds will be issued within the legally required timeframe after we receive the returned item or valid proof of return.
- After we process the refund, your bank or payment provider may need additional time to make the funds available.
🕶️ Damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items
If your REIC eyewear arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing an included accessory, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and supporting photos or video. We will review the issue and assist with a suitable solution, which may include a replacement, repair, refund, or another fair resolution depending on the case and applicable law.
🚫 Non-returnable or excluded situations
- Items showing signs of wear, misuse, scratches, accidental damage, or improper cleaning.
- Items returned without prior approval.
- Items missing major accessories or components, unless this was agreed during the return approval process.
- Damage caused by bending, dropping, crushing, heat exposure, chemical exposure, or incorrect storage.
- Gift cards, if offered, are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
🌍 International orders, customs & duties
For international orders, customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges applied by their country. These charges are not controlled by REIC and may not be refundable by us. If an order is refused or not collected due to customs or import fees, any refund will be reviewed once the parcel is returned to us, and shipping or return costs may be deducted where permitted by law.
⚖️ Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or removes your statutory consumer rights. Customers in Ireland, the EU, the UK, and other regions may have legal rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract. If local consumer law provides greater protection than this policy, we will handle your request in line with applicable law.
